| but the legal situation has now changed (as the article points out) and anyone can do a Peter Pan show without permission but they still have to pay royalties to the hospital. Could you expand on this a bit? I see that 'Peter And The Starcatcher', a prequel to Barrie's play is now a musical on Broadway. How is it they had no problems with the estate? There are four young adult prequel novels written by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson out plus a few preteen volumes as well. I saw a scene done on this years Tony awards. By the way, could anyone explain why they would change the original name Peter and the Starcatchers, to a single Starcatcher? Makes no sense to me. If this show does indeed come to pass, I plan on being there as early as possible after how quickly Dance of the Vampires folded. | |
