Haven't checked out your list of pop songs yet, however here are some other suggestions:
Tobi Sammets' Avantasia (all concept albums) has also been described as a Steinman with balls of metal. Recently released a new album, Mystery of Time.
Damnation Angels - Bringer of Light
Nightwish obviously, alas instead of fake drums and overt use of synth they frequenlty record with orchestra and real drums, so not quite like Steinman :)
More mainstream would be Fun and Killers.
