I know Jim's a fan of country music, and had even name dropped Hank Williams as one of his favourites. Hank was less a song writer and more of a poet. With that in mind I'd thought I'd rip him off. Writing with the simple musical accompaniment Hank's song "Cold Cold Heart" in mind I came up with this. Work in progress, but any thoughts would be welcome. The Start
Before I sleep and as I wake
I only think of you
The answer to my years of prayer

It seems to me that over night

But you're always reminding me of lines drawn in the sand
Everyday I learn anew, that we're leagues apart
But I'll keep waiting for your love
And happiness to start
