Amanda Palmer has just released a new song, Machete. URL below. She sometimes gets a Steinmanesque feel on her songs, especially because (like Jim) she plays piano like it's a percussion instrument, not a string instrument.
The arrangement of Machete is reminiscent of Jim, being piano-based with string section. The orchestrations are pretty different than what Jim would usually do (outside of his theater work) but I can see this song appealing to the same audience.
