The early reviews of this album made me nervous. Once I got it, however, I was immediately taken with it. Yes, Meat's voice has changed but it's nowhere near as bad as some of the reviewers made it out to be. I'm on track to surpass Bat II listening to this one and that's my favorite of all of Jim's and Meat's productions. I especially love the rerecording of I'd Do Anything For Love with a full orchestra. I definitely would have loved them doing Not Allowed To Love and We're Still The Children. Is it too much to hope for that other "lost children" get to be found for us? Perhaps a true Bat Out Of Hell IV (The Last At Bat?
By the way, how are sales? I checked Billboard's Top 200 and see it's not there.
