| I wasn't going to write anything with it being the first show but Jaqueline seemed interested in our thoughts. So I'll keep it brief I thought the fight scene was a bit chaotic at the beginning and it distracted from Strat and Raven coming together I think there is more to come from Raven as she finds the character but I think she needs to show a bit more aggression and desperation to escape. It just seemed a bit nicey nicey. You would be going BAT SHIT CRAZY locked away and I didn't feel that from her. BUT SHE CAN SING and I loved HCW & IACBTMN STRAT is a 1 off. His talking voice draws you in and he can hold you. He brings an energy to these songs and his character. He's fantastic JAGWIRE & ZAHARA had a great chemistry and the audience didn't get going until they did 2 OUT OF 3. SLOAN & FALCO STOLE THE SHOW. Sloan had the best 1 liners. But the chemistry these 2 had was brilliant. PARADISE WAS EPIC. I had been wondering how the play by play was going to be done and it blew me away. Superbly executed. (The lost mention the nuns and it reminded me of that story Jim told about Phil Rizzuto and the nuns after he recorded the play by play. LOL. ). Also I loved BODY. I felt every word! CONFESSIONS OF THE LOST, I was surprised OJECTS was in with it being used in TANZ & DOTV. the audience loved it I didn't get the relationship with TINK & STRAT. Did Tink fancy Strat or was it a case of 'bros before hoes'. I just don't know?? Also could NOT ALLOWED TO LOVE be done as a 3 way with TINK STRAT & RAVEN? They are all in the same boat at that point. I will never listen to RARDCT the same again. It just seemed to fit so well. Brilliantly carried out and sad at the same time. I thought the media and visuals was completely fresh, not seen anything like that before. I noticed the RIBBONS OF BLOOD line and the BAD FOR GOOD POSTER in her bedroom. I loved the whole thing but I am bias like most of us on here. I've said before, this show will evolve and the characters will develope. I'm just glad that it's finally been done and in my home town too. Kismet! | |
