I think there's something to that, although I wouldn't use those exact same words.

I'm not a marketing person, but perhaps releasing both albums between the Manchester and London runs would have been more sensible. The show will have gained more momentum by then, i.e. more people may be familiar with Steinman (not only MeatLoaf), without alienating hardcore fans who may be less interested at this time.

I probably could have skipped a couple of Karine/Zak posts on this board and Facebook earlier in the month (before the BAT premiere), but the closest I've been to a Steinman event during the last 11+ years is attending Paradise Lost and seeing the live stream of Live at Kulaks at L.A, so supporting Karine and Zak seems like the right thing to do.

I do not know (and do not want to know) all the details about Karine's past and current projects, so I am not going to comment on that. However, after the Paradise Lost concert, she joined Jim's fans in the bar for a very long time before leaving for the night. A lot of artists would not have done that, esp. those signed to a major label.

I wish I could have attended BAT in Manchester but the timing did not work out this year due to a number of personal and professional reasons. I hope to be able to attend Tyce's release party in NYC instead, since I am pretty confident that BAT will make it to Toronto (and maybe even Broadway) sometime next year.
