I know we all love the music. Your review echos my concern, especially the part about the audience singing along. I can't imagine that working on a commercially successful show. Theater-goers don't go to a concert. They go to a show. I don't pay to hear the clown next to me singing louder than the cast. This is why I am waiting to hear the unbiased critic's reviews before getting my hopes up on ever seeing this show in a US production.
