| Hi, this is Nicky James, i wanted to introduce myself briefly so you all know who exactly i am, just so no one gets the wrong impression.. I have not really ever been on many messaged boards like this over the years but i feel you should know my background a little with Jim and Meats music.....i don't want anyone to think i just became a fan.. My first ever show was Meat at the NEC Birmingham in 1982, many many shows followed, i think i saw all the shows on the "Lost Boys" tour in 1988, then more after, my love for Jim's music goes way way back obviously, in fact it convinced me to move to Los Angeles and pursue my career in Music and production, in which i ended up playing and touring with artists like Michelle Branch, Jude and Five for Fighting, the list goes on.....however i always had Jim's music at heart, so when my best friend bought me a ticket to one of those 54 shows in NYC i went, where i met Tyce and Jim, i was asked "can we do this in LA" the answer was "YES" so we did at The Rockwell, we also did the Kulaks live stream, where right after we ended the show Jim called us to congratulate us, very cool indeed, the rest they say is history, i found the musicians and co produced a wonderful album Hero-Tyce, a dream over 30 years in the making for a HUGE Jim and Meat fan.......in the years gone by i have managed to preserve my friendship with many of those musicians and songwriters on Meats tours...
