There's a ton of different edits of This Corrosion:

7" Version - 4:24

Cassette Side A Version - 3:59
Cassette Side B Version - 5:16

12" Version - 8:37

Album Version - 10:55

CD Single / Slight Case of Overbombing - 11:21

(There's more, but these are the main ones.)

Andrew Eldritch explained it like this: "Originally I only wanted the long version, for me the song had to be this way. But the record company vetoed that, so I spent a weekend at the mixing desk. I liked the three minute edit the best, then I thought I'd do another one at mid-length. The LP mix is the same as the 12 inch version, it just fades out a bit earlier. The cassette version is different again cos Jim insisted on doing an edit of his own. He's more into little bits and pieces."

The 5:16 edit is supposedly is the Steinman edit, I have it and will try to upload it somewhere soonish.
