Been to see the meat at the Manchester Evening News arena tonight and he was..................good!
You all know the set list so I wont bore with that but he was in fine tune. Jus like the RAH gig the second half just didn't do it for me. I don't think he has figured out to sing TMIL live yet and therefore the vocal was lacking. I.E. jus words - no meaning! But overall a strong and 'confident' vocal performance, better then I have heard in a long time! BOOH was the best live performance I have witnessed and I have seen him quite a few times now.
We was sat in the 3rd row and my mate (who is NO meat fan) said meat looked like he had a minute to live and that he looked like he was gonna go down any minute. But I thought Meat looked healthy and energetic. LOL
It was well worth the £45 for the 2.5 hr set, the stage was new, he had 5 screens - 2 static and 3 moved in view at certain points and he even had fire cannons!!!!!
I think the show was an 8/10
