You are not going to get object reviews on meatloaf .net or mlukfc. For that matter you won't get real discussion on mlukfc. Most of my comments about Patti Russo leaving the band have been taken down even though they were reasonable comments and not inflamatory. Anything you post on that subject will be met with "neither party has made an official statement" of course Loaf isn't at this point and if Patti ever says anything they will immediately claim it is then "one-sided" no doubt. I was basically told that unless I was in the room when whatever happened went down to not comment, and I would bet if I had been in the room my statement would have to still take Meat's side or they'd still have a problem with it. I think the mods over there live in fear of Meat dropping by the site and seeing something less than gushing praise and getting upset.
That said Meat's voice is all over the place these days, has been that way since '94 or so. That makes it tough for him to do a great live dvd if only one show gets filmed unless they get lucky & catch a good night. In fairness to Meat I will say that a couple of fan reviews said the meet & greet was cancelled because he was seeing a doctor about a bad ear or sinus infection. If that is true I can cut him some slack, but it seems that he is sick a lot and that gets brought up a lot of times when the reviews are bad. I think at his age and with the demanding nature od the songs it is just going to happen.
