No, Jim has always been brutally honest. It's the same with Roger Waters. Check out his interview in Q Magazine 1992 (promoting "Amused To Death"). If you think Jim's bitter, wow, think again.

Although I will say that I'm shocked that Jim is so honest about his experience with "Dance of the Vampires". Firstly, because he seemed to condone the changes in the first place (and called Michael Crawford a towering talent) and when it failed, turned around and said all that stuff. If I were Jim, I wouldn't even comment on the show. My only response would be "no comment". I was shocked about that but no, Jim is brutally honest, more so than 90percent of people working in musical theatre. IMO of course
