I was once most most fortunate to sing a few lines of this song with Bonnie some years ago. It was backstage at a Lorraine Crosby - Mrs Loud, from the 'Anything For Love' single - show in my home town, near Bonnie's home town in South Wales. Bonnie was in the audience, sat a few tables from me. After the show, full of Dutch Courage (about eight pints worth probably) I approached Bonnie and Lorraine for autographs, like the total fanboy I am, and when they remarked on my physical similarities to a certain singer of Steinsongs, I explained that I was lucky enough to be able to sing the songs I love so much to audiences, and that coincidentally I was to play a gig at that very same venue in a few weeks' time. Bonnie immediately asked me to sing for her, and Lorraine suggested a little impromptu a capella 'Anything For Love' which I'm one hundred percent certain I totally ballsed-up through sheer fright, shock and delight all at once. Bonnie and I did a little snippet of Total Eclipse (she remarked on my falsetto quite favourably, while I was still in total disbelief at what was happening) and then, blatantly riding a wave of bravado brought on by her lovely compliment (and the beer) I said that Loving You's a Dirty Job was one of my favourites, and that I felt it should have been a much bigger hit (we all agreed) and so we sang some of that as well! It is one of my most treasured memories, and one I'm extremely grateful to have. The final special touch came when Bonnie requested that I sign the poster for my upcoming show for her, which was just astonishing.
