hey... there's no point in arguing about taste... besides... why call it disagreeing?? I find exchanging thoughts and perspectives with other fans to be stimulating and sometimes even educating... Sometimes someone else's interpretation of a song can completely change the way I look at it... or confirm that the song means something different to me than it does to others... and that that is fine with me... I love discovering points of view and dimensions that would otherwise have been completely lost to me... because your background and "bagage" colours everything... including the way you perceive songs and lyrics... you may read a lyric completely differently from what I read in it... I think my list of songs is on the page somewhere... we've had this discussion before... but I have to admit... that my taste in music is often subject to my mood... and my mood is often subject to what music I hear that day... lol Will have to think about this... but life is getting in the way of my creative and personal vibes... again... -K- > Ok I've narroewed it down to single albums otherwise it's > to predicable > > ALBUM 1 > 1 ANYTHING FOR LOVE M.L > 2 FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF NIGHT B.T > 3 TONIGHT IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE YOUNG F.I > 4 LOVING YIOUS A DIRTY JOB B.T > 5 IT'S ALL COMMING BACK P.B > 6 BAD FOR GOOD J.S > 7 MAKING LOVE OUT OF NOTHING AT ALL A.S > 8 TOTAL ECLIPSE B.T > 9 BAT OUT OF HELL M.L > > > ALBUM 2 > 1 REBEL WITHOUT A CKLUE BT > 2 SURFS UP ML > 3 BRAVER THAN WE ARE EC > 4 GOOD GIRLS GO TO HEAVEN PB > 5 LEFT IN THE DARK BS > 6 ILL KILL YOU IF YOU DONT COME BACK ML > 7 HEAVEN CAN WAIT FEMALE > SINGER > 8 THE FUTURE AINT WHAT IT USED TO BE PB > 9 PARADISE BY THE DASHBOARD LIGHT CASH > > > ALBUM 3 > ANY OF THE ABOVE SONGS PRODUCED BY SCARAMOUCHE AND SUNG BY > HIS MALE AND FEMALE SINGERS > > THATS JUST MY ALBUMS YOU WILL PROBABLY DIAGREE > > > > > > I think we've discussed that many times before... > > and I think we've all agreed that we'd love to hear more > > of some of Jim's more rare and underappreciated tracks ... > > as well as a continued surfacing of demo's & stuff... > > > > Just out of curiosity... what would your track lists be? > > Let's go for two double albums... > > > > Album 1 would be greatest hits - this would have to > > contain a FAIR representation of Jim's work (not just Meat > > songs, for example) > > > > Album 2 would be rare stuff - things that you/we feel > > should have been hits/singles, demo's you'd love to see > > recorded, and by who... > > > > A possible 3rd album might contain a list of "dreams"... > > demo's, released songs, hits... sung by who you think > > would make a perfect alternative version... > > > > go ahead... surprise me?? > > > > -K- > > > > > > > Hi Jim should relaese an album of hits and rare tracks > > > > > > I'd call it Steinworks(hits & misses), anyone agree | |
