To listen to some of the material that might be used for Jim's The Final Flight album, there are some amazing demos posted on Ryan's super groovy Jim Steinman Batman site. My favourite is The Catwoman's Song (I Need All The Love I Can Get). Some of the material posted may have been recycled. I would have to ask Ryan about that. He is an expert. But The Catwoman's Song (thanks not only to Jim but also to Jeff Bova's magical touch) is fresh and new and why waste such a magnificent work of art? Actually, even if you have heard all the demos, it is worth visiting Ryan's Batman site. Its very interesting and has now had over 68,000 hits. Although, its also a little sad. What might have been. But the happy ending is that Jim wrote some amazing songs for the Batman musical and they are not going to end up going to waste. Please click the link below.
