Yes! Whatever album it ends up on, a second alternate version could be a bonus track for the deluxe edition.
The Rob Evan piano/vocal at Joe's Pub in 2005 was breathtaking, so firstly a piano/vocal studio version with some very subtle strings and/or percussion, and secondly a fully produced version (big BV's, guitars, drums etc). The Mohegan Sun arrangement was getting close.
Rob Evan did mention that he first heard the song on the Kyle Gordon piano/vocal demo, so would love to hear that.
Still my favourite Steinman song. Lyrics and chord progressions are great.
