The song was produced by Jim and Jimmy Iovine and was finished just waiting for Meat's vocal. I believe he did record it but was either not happy with the finished product or was more interested in the duet song Jim offered him instead.Meat recorded DEADRINGER in a series of takes, line by line for each song. Around three takes per line and then the best of the three was used.
