Four singles were released from Dead Ringer: Dead Ringer for Love, I'm Gonna Love Her for Both of Us, Read 'Em and Weep (later a big hit for Barry Manilow) and Peel Out. The album reached #1 in the UK. But why did Jim walk away from producing it? Could that be the reason it doesn't "get some love from the record company"? The tour for this album also marked the beginning of Meat Loaf's long-running collaboration with pianist Paul Jacobs, as both sideman and songwriter. | |
