I feel bad for Jim because he must have thought that getting Ken Russell to direct would give him a fantastic video that might resemble one of the scenes from Ken's Tommy film. But it turned out to be like a weird orgy that MTV would never touch. There was little hope for the album because of that video. Well, little hope then. I see now that it has a very enthusiastic cult folowing. The reviews on Amazon are very very positive. But what a shame that it wasn't a hit then for Jim. I believe that it was only released in South Africa. Although, I could be wrong. | |
