Sorry, but I hate the 'guns don't kill people, people do' argument.

Of course people kill people, but the argument tends to suggest that guns are not at 'fault', and therfore are okay.

Guns are horrible things and make killing so QUICK & EASY.

Shooting & killing someone from a 'distance', simply by pulling a trigger is, to a certain extent, 'detaching' the offender from the actual act of killing, and in turn making it 'easier'.

Not that it's right, but to bludgeon, stab or beat someone to death requires a lot more effort & time, and greatly increases the chances of getting caught.

To summarise, guns make it FAR TOO EASY, and therefore the number of murders/deaths are gonna be so much greater!
