Just that it goes nowhere. The outro is awesome, with all of the great guitar solos, but what's the point? It just sounds like a really weak song. I can see why Meat hated it all these years. I dunno, "Hero" just feels a lot more like that big TYPICAL Steinmanesque anthem. I think the chorus is explosive, I love the bridge with the "Up where the mountains meet the heavens above" (recycled from the NEVERLAND "All Revved Up" instrumental LOL and the second half of "Private Of Privates" :P I think it was played on the '82 Meat Loaf tour.) | |
