What you've got to remember is the circumstances leading up to BAT III. "Dance Of The Vampires" was supposed to be a success on Broadway, followed by "Batman: The Musical", but that dream fell apart. Obviously Jim had a lot of demos lying around from both creative processes. Just like recycling material from "Bad For Good" and "Original Sin", because he wanted the world to hear it, Jim must have done the same here. All of those great songs he'd written, NEW and GREAT songs, gone to waste. He had to use them somewhere. And where else would they get the best exposure? Why, OF COURSE, "Bat Out Of Hell III" which the world has been thirsting for since one of the greatest comebacks in rock'n roll--BAT II
