I think TMiL would have been better (and more easily swallowed) if it didn't include any Steinman penned tunes at all.
And if it was only 55 minutes long.
I'd keep Monstro / Alive, What About Love, Blind As A Bat and MAYBE Cry Over Me, and have James Michael ? Desmond write the rest.
That way they could have crafted an album, instead of a frankenstein. And they wouldn't have fucked up any jim songs on which Meat can't sing.
