Land of the Pigs

Apparently Meat did 'Pigs' for the first time live, on Saturday night in Manchester, which tends to suggest it might be the next single.

Interestingly, excerpts from Animal Farm & Metropolis were shown on the back screen during the song.

I thought of Metropolis when Jim blogged about the Batman scene description last year, and it seems he may have been inspired by this film, to write the song.

Check this out from Wikipedia:

'The film is set in the year 2027, in the extraordinary Gothic skyscrapers of a corporate city-state, the Metropolis of the title. Society has been divided into two rigid groups: one of planners or thinkers, who live high above the earth in luxury, and another of workers who live underground toiling to sustain the lives of the privileged'.

BTW - Queen used excerpts from Metropolis, in their Radio Ga Ga video.
