| I've just read the "Dance in My Pants" thread and the "Meat's Latest Concert" thread, but I thought this deserved a new thread of its own. I'm going to see Meat again in Newcastle on Sunday. The "Dance in My Pants Thread" got me thinking about the awesome sets I've seen him do in the past. I dug out the tour book from the Bat Out of Hell 10th Anniversay Lost Boys and Golden Girls Tour. Here's the running order: Meat did of course sing DimP on the Bat out of Hell 10th Anniversary Lost Boys and Golden Girls Tour of 1988. Just out of interest the official running order from the tour programme was ACT I "The Storm" Scene 1: Fender Guitar Song: "Out of the Frying Pan" Scene 2: Hot Summer Night Song: "Took the Words Right out of My Mouth" ACT II "Natives are Restless Tonight" Song: "Let the Revels Begin" Scene 1: Darker than Sin Song: "Original Sin" Song: "Bad for Good" Scene 2: Hooks Torture The Entire City is Burning Song: "Modern Girl" Scene 3: Who needs the Young Song: "Dance in My Pants" ACT III: "Red Badge of Love (The Final Phase)" Song: "Love Her for Both of Us" Song: "Lost Boys and Golden Girls" Song: "Bat out of Hell" Finale: "Lost Boys (Reprise) **This does of course pre-date Pandora's Box** Imagine how blown away I was by that set! "I'm gonna love her for both of us" was sensational, by the way. Ohh, and the Goff sisters...!!!! I've got a dodgy bootleg of the Newcastle date (15th March 88) and noted that he added a couple of extra tunes along the way. I don't have a note of the Encores. | |
