> Left in the Dark with respect to its level of pain and
> resignation seems to me a very good choice.
Left In The Dark has more anger in it than resignation, and Left In The Dark has more pain than a guy at a bar....because the liquor drowns the sorrows, while in Left In The Dark the sorrows are drowning.
I cried my eyes out the first time I heard it. And felt like a whole set of guilts were piling up on me. I never got that it was about resignation, because I didn't buy into the story. But I don't know. There's alot that there was no control over, and alot that went awry, but the best lines were about just wanting the truth.
