| Something's just hit me: If Jim has time enough to remix Simon Cowel's version of Total Eclipse of the Heart, incorporating TDV / DOTV backing tracks he already had... ... does he have time to do the same thing to Meat and Desmond's Seize the Night? Keep Meat's vocals, delete the stupid bit about memories colliding, and place the Overture / The Storm / the TDV backing tracks and some new guitars underneath. And voila! Time for a new one disc best of, with a "new" Steinman involved song on it that didn't take 2 years to produce! (Well perhaps I take that too far, but the general principal is still good I think. If he can put the TDV backing tracks to good use with crappy recording artists on mixes that no one will ever get to hear, why not do it with Meat?). | |
