I think this is one of the reasons why the album never sold, along with MTV not liking the Ken Russell video.
Even though a tour may have been difficult, I'd have thought Jim and/or Virgin could have organised a couple of album launch shows in London and/or New York?
The nearest we've got to it since is Elaine & Steve at the Dream Engine/OTT shows.
If they ever do another TDE show, would be cool if Ellen Foley took part.
