I loved the music of Abba and saw them perform live in NYC when they came around. I was virtually addicted to their songs because each one was great. But, the style being much different with Jim's I could not place them in the same category. Abba was very much attune to the pop cycle pattern and full production in that commercial area. They didn't do much that was out of the "formula" with the possible exception of "Fernando". Great, does not mean great the same way. Jim has gone against the pop formula, just about kicking and screaming.
