| Incidentally I think lots of Jim's cleverest stuff comes from the titles of the songs! Loads have double meanings - LITD, FCOL, TOOTAB, OOTFPAITF, REAW, MTYD, ARUWNPTG, etc etc - I could go on forever!! I love the way he takes seamingly cliched, mundane phrases and puts a whole new spin on them to give them an entirely new meaning of their own. This is definately my favourite thing about Jim's writing - there's very few of his songs that only have one level - one day I'd love to be able to employ this technique as effectively as he can. Some Steinmanesque Titles: Nothing Could Be Further From The Youth Face The Music (For The Record) For Heavens Sake End Of Story It Goes Without Saying (I Don’t Want You To Go) Say It Like You Mean It (If I Mean Anything To You) This Damn Nation Dis-appoint Me Before I Disappoint You (Let Me Down Before I Let You Down) Losing My Memory I Love Everything About You But I Don’t Love You.
