Even if it turns out not to be him, he is reading it. So it functions for it anyway in terms of things I'd like to say. But, here is something you can think of. He really likes to entertain people, to keep things interesting. He really likes to make a funny joke. He really does express affection to me in one of his signatures. He really does show both the origination of the character name Riff Raff (Riff of the Jets in West Side Story) and the phrase "Bat out of hell" as also coming from the same source. He really does compliment me on the blog, and give me what I know he would do if he felt any way the latitude to (which does not happen frequently) and, it is not me doing the blog and calling it Jim's. So, it is not the worst thing in the world to read it and see along with me what it evolves to. I for one am glad to see it, along with subleties which I expect from Jim (inasmuch as anything can ever be really expected from him but I base it on intuitives rather than actual standards)...there is so much under the skin between he and I, that I sense it along the way, and if I'm wrong, then that will be another turn to take. In the meantime, I am relating to a man who has given me much insight into himself, and I am relating to him consistently with that insight. You may not see proof....but you can use your discernment. My Jimmy and I have had few but several opportunities, and each one has had its own specialness to it. There's that one that he called "a hell of a night" that is referred to in Bad For Good, for example. Which is different from the one which created Angels Arise/Graveyard Shift and several others. I know he has alot more in the pipeline if he makes songs based on our being together. We had a whole dating scenario in 1992 and then a continuous face-to-face contact friendship in 1995. Then there was our near marriage in 1999. Hmmmm.......that's alot of writing material. Why not let him see if it is worthwhile to put out to you. :) | |
