I think the band just get bored playing the same old 'shit', tour after tour after tour; Meat's set lists just aren't varied enough?
Plus, even great bands struggle if the singer can't concentrate, breathe, keep in time etc etc.
He's obviously just chasing the dollar nowadays.
Meat was at his peak probably '88 - '95. The Bat 2 shows were great, as the band never strayed from Steinman's arrangements and there was a cool 'gothic feel' about the presentation; no blow up bats or dolls, more a rock musical.
Having said all that, a lot could be forgiven if he had a decent Bat 3 album to tour and play?
