Okay. I just want to be thorough. If I pull in the photo of his childhood at the age of eleven, I can show you that his two front teeth are missing. A family trait seems to exist where child/baby teeth are not falling out properly, and Jim Cypherd did have his baby teeth surgically removed but happily before any adult teeth grew in. But here is also a gap of my knowledge. He explained this to me to explain the missing teeth at the time, but he never mentioned to me his teeth again except some years ago he lost one and whistled through his speaking on the air until he said he had another tooth put in. So, here, surprise surprise, or not so surprising as there are bound to be huge gaps of information, I don't really know what happened when and to whom. I did not observe Jimmy C. taking aspirins in the times I've been with him, nor did he give me indications of being in pain. What I do know from observation is that his front teeth do seem real to me, and they seem to have been grown out properly once his baby teeth were removed, an experience that perhaps Big Jim did not share to such extent, and Big Jim, as those could see, has a gap between his teeth in the front. If I don't manage to post the photo here, I am referring to the lower left hand side of my avatar, a photo crop I did, and I intend to post the entire photo here. What you can see in this photo, and the reason why I am placing it in its proportion as the only time I was ever taller than he, was that he did not have an easy time prior to his natural growth spurt, gaining those signs of maturity that boys of eleven years of age enjoy, and somehow all that energy was more in his cerebrum than his pituitary. The teeth were just pulled prior to this meeting we enjoyed (*) at a family's affair, and naturally were a topic of conversation. Now, he is much taller than I am, with perfect teeth, and I am short with not the most perfect of overbites. Big Jim has the space between his teeth which Jimmy C has simulated using theatrical tape. Honest, Jim C. told me this. | |
