Yet another 'the story of...the making of...Hysteria' in this month's Mojo magazine (UK).
Jim gets a bit of a mention and even a photo (Pandora's Box sessions). Joe Elliott says he and Steinman never really 'clicked', and although Jim 'told great stories about Meat loaf' they couldn't afford to listen at '$1,500 per hour'.
Not sure if they meant the studio time (probably), or what Jim was charging (possibly).
I think the Def Lepp episode put Jim off producing bands ever again, as he only seems to have worked with session musicians and solo artists since?
