She is only as big a problem as we allow her to be. Who is forcing us to reply to her? Why can we not simply ignore her posts?
I agree that some of the things she says may be insulting to Jim, or the image we have of him, but why add to the insults by crediting her with this much attention? Why fill up a whole board with all the things we disapprove of?
As Elisabeth says to Lady Catherine: Your coming to Longbourn to see me and my family will be rather a confirmation of it; if, indeed, such a report is in existence.'
As for Ryan being banned, I don't know. I have not seen the image he posted, but I do recall others like Pud to post images like the one described. I for one would find it annoying to say the least if Ryan got banned for reminding us of a previous insult we launched at him. Lately, I have found myself reluctant to post here, and discovered an unknown quality in myself, that of the selective reader. I cannot have read more than 10 posts in the last month.
JD, I salute you for all you have done to make this board what it is... the rest is up to us posters. We make the board in to what it is... and it is up to us to decide what we do with it.
