Indeed. We got there, parked up, met some of the mlukfc folk and got a drink. Then a call came in from someone who arrived later and be turned away with "It's cancelled mate". Shortly afterwards a fan walked past shouting "The fat poofter has cancelled", and then we got a tannoy announcement to say it'd be postponed till the end of the month.
I think "NEC" is short for "No Effin Concert".
As I said yesterday, if he's ill he should cancel, and not try to start the show. People who I spoke to that had seen the Newcastle show said he looked so bad they didn't think he'd be well enough for today's show, so I'm glad he did cancel. But he should have cancelled earlier then lots of people could have not bothered travelling for nothing.
