I think Meat meant what he said at the time. And deep down he may really want to be done with it all.
But judging from the statement of the bookers (or was that his record company) they had a tour they needed to complete. And to cancel all the gigs could have been a fate worse than death for Meat. And you all probably know how the music industry is about there money.
Some artist can be sued for not completing their agreed performances, ill or not, if that's the contract that's signed. Just reading between the lines here.
But, I'm glad he's still going, as long as the cost isn't too high. I'm not talking about money here...
