....the headline should read.
There was a time when he beat the HELL out of those gargantuan songs; now they generally beat the CRAP out of him. The Royal Albert Hall gig being an exception to this IMO.
Many have said that Meat should do the occasional show, it would be the best for him and for us. Nothing like creating a bit of demand for a product rather than spreading it thinly all over the world.
I love Meat Loaf AND Jim Steinman. It hurts to say that my hero should step down. He was the epitome of the outsider done good; the fat guy who could have been such a joke showed the world - I love that (I think he set a work ethic that many of us desire). It would be such a shame to start proving the critics right by not producing the goods.
