| This is my musical vision. Wasted Youth. (Indeed, I stole the title from Jim. And I use “Boleros” in one scene.) It’s about a young boy who gets in diced into joining a magical group of warriors. Who fight to keep the world safe from Warlocks and vampire and relative other nasties I took Jims advice (although technically not advice) and envisioned the film and wrote from the characters point of view. If anything you’ll like the name of the characters. I named them after tow very special people. And I use the name of this very site in the lyrics Leading the march (For the good of the people) Setting. The main characters, Jimmy and Karla. Are hiding out of at Karla’s apartment after for fear of being followed by vampires sent by the Elder, the main villain of the film. While Jimmy and Karla talk the conversation soon turns to fear. And Karla sings the song “Leading the march (For the good of the people) her dissection of evil and the longing for someone she can share her life and to take her away, If even for a time. The war she has signed her life away to I can’t think back to a time when I’ve not had to witness evil’s consummation of the good. Forever the weak praying for the light, in the darkness the terrors are strong. The darkness uprising brings death. Quickly approaching, taking those who are close away. I’ll never forget first time I saw death. A demon was feasting on the flesh of it young. And as those evil eyes bore down on my soul I knew my life would never be the same again. Course And I just can’t stand the pain. But it’s a war I’ve chose to fight and now I’ll always be leading the march for the good of the people Too scared to love, afraid of the fall in the midst of a world decaying in the dark. It will only lead to grieve and sorrow. It’s a better tomorrow with out the dear of a broken heart, And yet even with the strength of a vengeful goddess, A girl still needs someone to love. I pray someone will come and take me away from this ever-lasting nightmare. If only for a time so my dreams are not polluted Course A girl still needs someone to love. I just need someone to love me | |
