Some of the lyrics are a little off, from memory (i.e. I think it's "and the present's miles away..." not "and the present slips away..." AND "It's such a raging bull and the whole world is a red flag." Or did they change that inbetween February and March? Hmm...) The lyrics are fantastic, of course, but it doesn't go with the "Braver" song. "Braver" is supposed to be that sentimental, syrupy, sloppy ballad, the follow-up to "Anything For Love" on "The Final At Bat". Jim was messing with perfection, the same way I imagine he might be missing with "Paradise Lost" (dooooon't do it, I beg you. I just have a feeling that that song's perfect.)
