I do remember hearing about it, but it was part of my protest and boycott of Sci-Fi at the time.
I did manage to catch a bit of an episode and it wasn't bad.
Do watch Farscape and I think you'll agree that it'd be perfect for a Jim project. It's just that crazy, chaotic and insane. As for the politics...being a sci-fi geek, I have to deal with a bunch of that crap.
