| Well...the rights to produce an English version must have been obtained from the European producers at some point, and maybe Sonnenberg & co had carte blanche to do what they wanted (which is more or less what they did)? I didn't think Kunze held a share in the rights, so could he have stopped it? I still think an English version, based very closely on the Polanski version, could do well in London. Maybe keep 'Tanz Der Vampyr' as the title or 'The Fearless Vampire Killers' (anything to detract from DOTV). BTW - On a similar note, ALW is currently re-working 'The Beautiful Game' and changing the name to 'The Boys in the Photograph'. > It doesn't matter if a lot of money changed hands.
