If Jim has faith/belief in what he's written then people will make the connection themselves and don't need to be told it in a logo, because the connection should be blatantly obvious when they watch the show.
If you tell the public the show is about Peter Pan, but it's so twisted that they can't relate it to Peter Pan at all, then it's going to get panned big time.
