Think the main colour made a huge impact on me. The blue sort of represented coldness, which I felt a lot of the songs had: Lemon, Objects. Even AFL and Rock and Roll Dreams are sort of writing from a view point where things are not great but they will/can be.
The "proper" Bat 3 cover (which I still maintain should have had "Escape from Hell" as the subtitle) should have been green with the guy and girl escaping a large bat on the motorbike. That would have been perfect as the ending...
