| Not being a huge musicals fan, I had to look that one up. Didn't realise it was a Sondheim piece. It's a shame for Ellen that she once again originates the role only to be overshadowed by someone else - a bit like what happened with 'Paradise...' and Karla, but the consensus does seem to agree with you that Bernadette Peters was right for the role. I always found it strange that "Spirit of St Louis" wasn't a bigger hit for her, given The Clash involvement. Then again, for some reason, I always liked 'Another Breath' most out of all her solo work. > I do love Ellen...
