Ah, in that case it's a good job you weren't in the following situation ...
A few years ago I was in NZ on business. Chap I was working with offered me lunch back at his place. He then said:
"I'll show you my new dick extension"
At which point, fortunately, I remembered that Kiwis pronouce the word "deck" like "dick"...
