I'd never seen this clip before but... wow!
Jim's version is just fantastic! I mean, fair enough he doesn't sound like a teenage girl but I still think it's better than the version on the album (which is good, but the intonation doesn't sound quite right in a few places.)
Jim's intonation is spot on, and he also has a lot more energy behind it.
I just realised I'd never seen him act before. There are the other spoken word pieces on other albums, but those read more like pieces of poetry than straight monologues in a character.
It's just brilliant! ...wow!
