I am so happy to read I am not the only one who has crazy translations for Jim lyrics that I cant quite figure out:

And for the life of me, when I was younger I could never make out the chrous on Wasted youth:
"Wasted youth is better by far than a BLANK (and then Wasted was said to loud so I couldn't hear the next word!)"
