I think that Todd Rundgren had a lot to do with BAT's sound. And whether it's a popular thought or not, Meat made his contributions. Don't forget that Jim and Meat worked on BAT for over a year and then started presenting it to the record companies. Nobody can honestly think he had no input into the albumn other than vocals. Meat was ready to retire when Jim got him going on BAT 3. Then for whatever reason, Jim pulled out. Meat continued when he shouldn't have under the BAT label and the rest is history. Long and short, Meat must have a better reason than wanting to go out on top to do another albumn.
